 The tabla is an avant-garde instrument and the main instrument of Hindustani music. Its founder is the Indian musician "Amir Kushru".  Chena cultivation, which started in the past, is still practiced by farmers today. Chena harvest in August. I am correct in saying that our chena is in the jungle. I really like our chenas.   Martin Wickramasinghe was originally known as Don Bastian of Child Soldier and later as Martin Wickramasinghe. He was born on May 29, 1890. He was the only son of a family of ten born to Liyanage Thochchohami of Balapitiya, Magalla.    At the age of 5, Wickramasinghe learned the Sinhala alphabet at home and from the monks of the village temple. At the age of two he was admitted to the village school, where he was educated until 1897.
